The Pound is a 3rd person, post-apocalyptic RPG, action adventure PC game set in the year 2045 where major cities of the world were hit with an infection that took control of people’s minds, making them extremely aggressive and dangerous; they came to be known as Ragers. Ragers wiped out all large gatherings of people, leaving only isolated and remote humans. These humans relied on local farming, and their own developed skills in the wilderness to survive. While animals were immune to the infection, they became increasingly susceptible to attacks from the Ragers as the humans that once cared for them were wiped out.

As civilizations and densely populated areas collapsed, Rangers and indigenous people became the keys to survival. As the population grew and rebuilt itself, they were taught useful skills by Elders to contribute and rebuild the community. A new way of upbringing and life was taught to those born into the community. A crater-like area, surrounded by mountains known as the Pound became a safe haven for communities, as the natural large walls of the Pound helped to not only keep things from entering, but also in containing the few animals left. There are no longer many of the comforts of modern day life and most of the community lives with tents in a fenced off compound towards the entrance of the Pound.

The Pound follows the young adult, Casey, as he embarks on his first Watch Tower mission. Casey was born and raised inside the Pound with his only remaining family connection, his Uncle, and doesn’t know a world without the infection. The Pound itself is based on the Wilpena Pound in the Flinders Ranges, Australia.

  • Play as Casey, a young Adnamatna man just starting his life as a defender of The Pound and discover Act One of his story.
  • Fight off Ragers, humans infected and changed by a biological disease.
  • Explore the beautiful outback environment and listen to Yura Muda to develop your survival skills.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll check it out.

Guys I sent you through a bug report via the in game option, if you don't see my entire block of text please let me know.

One correction to my block of text: where I said
"- You may also want to have a way to go back to preview help screens when there are a few of them."
I meant
"- You may also want to have a way to go back to previous help screens when there are a few of them."
